Healing Sounds with Michael Fitzsimmons
Michael is a percussionist, composer, recording artist and workshop facilitator. This award winning musician and composer’s gentle presence and astonishing talent have moved so many participants forward through the use of hand-made drums and found sound.
Storytelling with Rita Paskowitz
Rita Paskowitz is a nationally-known storyteller with the uncanny ability to both tell and elicit amazing stories. Her workshops use these tales as a key to unlock issues of grief - and let healing in. She engages, enlightens and empowers through the spoken word.
Movement/Dance with Lauren Kotulak Bartels
Lauren is a Nebraska Arts Council teaching artist and dancer/choreographer. She is an immensely gifted choreographer and dancer whose ability to make the simplest everyday movements into an act of graceful healing has brought comfort and smiles to all who have worked with her.
Poetry/Spoken Word with Felicia Webster
Felicia, poetically known as Withlove,Felicia, is a nationally known performance poet who infuses her love of music with the spoken word. She is a teaching artist with The Nebraska Arts Council and a co-founder of The Wordsmiths with The Nebraska Humanities Council.
Visual Art with Kim Mueller
Kim Mueller is an accomplished visual artist and registered and board-certified Art Therapist whose incredibly insightful, hands-on projects awaken creativity and open the pathways to recovery to those in need of healing.
